From July 3 to 5, the German Animal Welfare Association is hosting a three-day interactive information event at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The main attraction is a large truck with which "Project 1882", a Swedish partner animal welfare organization of the German Animal Welfare Association, is on tour through the European capitals. Inside the truck is a walk-through mobile exhibition that provides information about animal husbandry in European agriculture, using modern VR technology among other things. With information stands on all aspects of animal welfare, political and expert talks and hands-on activities for young and old, the German Animal Welfare Association is bringing the complex topic of animal welfare in Europe to the streets this summer. Interested visitors can get their own impression of pressing animal welfare issues, take a look inside animal stables using virtual reality goggles, take part in discussions or simply linger over vegan food and ice cream. Children can paint, do puzzles or try their hand at the wheel of fortune.
We would be delighted to receive an appointment notice for visitors in advance of the event, as well as the participation of press representatives in the specialist and political talks. We will be happy to arrange interviews on site with the experts from the German Animal Welfare Association.
